Hi everyone! My husband and I were planning on taking our 3DDs to WDW next February. We just decided today that we can't wait that long!!:grouphug: We originally wanted to wait til next year so that our youngest would be close to 3. Any suggestions/opinions on taking a 2 year old? Also...any suggestions on where to stay March 4-10? We are trying to do this trip as budget friendly as possible so that maybe we can go again next year! Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

I think you just have to go and do what you want to with maybe a planned break mid-day for a nap. If DD2 is a good sleeper you could try the stroller, but I don't think they really rest properly there. I would try a value resort first like Pop or one of the AS's. I am unfortunately no very familiar with the off-site hotels so I can't give you any suggestions there. Don't forget to start making your ADR's too.

Have a fun trip!

We took DS8 when he was 2 and I thought he was easier than DS11 who was almost 6 at the time and soooo excited. :yay:
I suggest bringing something comforting from home like a special blanket or stuffed animal to help her sleep in the hotel.
Bring portable snacks and juice boxes or water- little children seem to be hungry at the most inconvenient times and if you can just pull something out of the diaper bag you will save valuable time.
Also, either bring all your supplies (diapers, snacks, etc...) from home or have them delivered from gardengrocer.com. Supplies are very expensive in Disney.
Bring your own stroller. You can always rent one for the other girls but DD2 (and maybe DD5) may need one outside of the parks as well. (It's an awful long walk from the bus to the hotel room if you are lugging a sleeping child.) Concentrate on what DD8 and DD5 want to see. Chances are DD2 will be happy just being with her family.
Don't be surprised if she doesn't like the characters - you never know with kids that age.
Definitely stay on site. That way if you need to split up and take DD2 back to the hotel for a break, everyone's fun won't be spoiled. See what type of hotel your budget can handle: value, moderate or deluxe and then go from there. They are all great in their own way.
Have a great trip.:thumbsup2

Does anyone have any info about Annual Pass? We are thinking that we may go back to WDW next Feb, so we are checking into the Annual Pass to see if it would be worth it for us. It says that you get "discounts" but does anyone know exactly how much $ these discounts are?:confused3

have a good trip

Steve and Julie - Just wanted to say - LOVE YOUR SIGGY!!

OP - HAVE FUN!! If you're thinking of staying offsite to save money - I would give Priceline a shot and lowball an offer at this late date. If it doesn't go through, you'll still have time to book a regular room. Check mousesavers to see of there are any deals now. You can even check the DVC rental boards and see if someone has an existing ressie up for rent.

As for the little one - just chill and relax and know you'll be going back. So, if you don't do everything (which can't be done anyway) you won't be disappointed. Take rests, enjoy their reactions to the little things (I remember my daughter being completely fascinated with the flamingos at Epcot years ago - she was maybe 18months - we sat there for an hour, where normally we would have admired and moved on to the next ride).

If you are seriously considering going again next year during February- I suggest getting an annual pass that you'll be able to use again (so you won't have to buy passes again next year). Just make sure you'll be going enough days combined on both trips to justify the expense.

Good luck and keep us informed!!!

2 yr old versus 3 year old? Free stay versus paying customer. No brainer go now. As for where to stay, I'd say stay where you can at this point. I was suprised, when our impromptu stay for that weekend was squashed the otherday, because DVC had no studios on property for us, anywhere.
