Okay, so this my first attempt at a trip report... I had this past weekend off from work, and I asked my mom on wednesday if she'd want to sepnd the weekend at WDW... she said no so I moved on and made plans to go see a movie on Saturday instead. On saturday morning at about 7am my mom wakes me up and asks me if I would still want to go to WDW? Of course, so we looked at flights (I work for an airline) and we left our house on a 10am flight, got to Port Orleans Riverside via the Magical Express, ate lunch at Riverside (on a side note there was a woman who was paying for her meal, when she realized she had one more counter service meal left and she was leaving the that day so she paid for my lunch- Thank You!!)
At 2pm we headed off for the Magic Kingdom. We rode Jungle Cruise, saw The Tiki Bird Show, ate dinner at Tony's... we got our table outside and watched Spectomagic with a great view. Then we headed over to ride Pirates, and Aladdin Magic Carpets. I got a fast pass for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad so I rode that while mom sat on a bench and waited for me. Then headed over to The Haunted Mansion for a last ride. We did a little shopping on Main Street on way out the park.
I'm glad I was able to spend a weekend with just my mom and I and that we were able to spend it at my favorite place... next time maybe she'll decide friday that she wants to go, so we can spend a whole day at WDW instead of just the afternoon and evening... Oh well, I will be going to WDW again the weekend of November 3rd and staying at Caribbean Beach... so I wasn't that sad when we left

ps- a cast member gave me a pin off her lanyard... I didn't bring my pins with me otherwise I would have given her one to trade... it was a cute pin, it a flower (from Bambi)...
