Last minute trip! Two questions about DCA...

Hi All! Just booked a last minute trip to DLR, leaving this Friday! Our about-to-expire Annual Passes were driving us crazy, so here we are!

We haven't been to DLR since last July, so I know that DCA will be very different from last time we were there! I do have two questions about the changes...

1. Do we still need to go to the Farmer's Market to get corn dogs, or is the Corn Dog Castle open?

2. Did they ever open a walkway between TOT and Bug's Land? I remember reading about it a long time ago, but don't recall confirmation of that happening.

In answer to #2 - yes, you can walk through Bugs Land to get to TOT. Have fun!

Nope, not yet, probably not until Ariel's ride is almost done, the construction trucks are driving past there daily.

They did open a walkway, but it is closed now due to construction for the Red Line cars that will be going down Buena Vista Street.

LOL - I read the first reply and went "Yes!!" then I read the second and went "Oh no!!"

Thanks for the info on the corn dogs too. I don't really mind cause I like that you can get fries with the corn dog rather than chips. Also we have been getting one corn dog and one fish and chips and splitting it - but I think we will just stick to the corn dog, so I can get some of the Halibut they have over at the F&W area. The pics of it look yummy!!!

The Halibut and the Chocolate Profiterole are the two best things over there. I liked the corn muffin coated fried cheese from the corn dog Palace and they don't have that at Bountiful Farms.

Thanks! And thank you for your very informative thread regarding the F&W festival! It would be awesome to live so close and be able to go to so many different events! I was joking to DH that we might spend so much time eating and drinking next weekend, we won't have time to ride any rides!

That's how it's been after a couple glasses of wine, I'm not as keen to go on CA Screamin' but I did anyways!
