Last minute trip in Oct - any info on a good resort rate?

Hi all - my sister and I will be be visiting WDW the first week of October with my DD5. It's only for one night, but we'd like to look into staying at a value or moderate resort for the night we're there. I haven't been tracking any info on discounts for Oct (didn't know we were headed there). If any one has a room only discount info - I'd appreciate it. We're squeezing this WDW trip in so my DD5 can get there before she doesn't believe in all the "magic" anymore Thanks

No AP or general public codes for October yet but many of us are watching and waiting. Hopefully we'll hear something soon! There's been talk circulating around that this Sunday (Aug 8) something might be released but nobody knows for sure. Stay tuned!

By the way my DD turns 7 later this month and she still believes in the magic. Yeah!

Hi viluvsdisney! OCTOBER is a great time to enjoy the magic! Join us all in the seemingly ENDLESS wait for the Oct-Dec '04 discounts! I too am hoping for something exciting to be revealed tomorrow in the discount department.

BTW--My mom taught me to believe in the magic, and it never died for me. I'm carrying on the tradition with my own DD8, and she still LOVES Mickey Mouse just as much as ever!! Just never adopt the attitude that the magic can die, and you'll never loose it!

I'll wait to see what comes up for October. In regards to the "magic" I mentioned - we're just months away from her not beleiving that EVERYTHING there is real (mostly the characters). That's what I'll miss most It will always be magical - but different - just like when your kids stop beleiving in Santa - ya know? We're hoping for a great couple of days though - thanks again!
