Last Minute Trip Booked!

I think I have officially lost my mind.

I just booked a quick trip over Easter break. DBF will be away for 10 days for work and oldest DD is off so why not? I got a great deal on airfare and with a little persistance, found a room at Pop.

We are going Sat 3/24-Wed 3/30. Put in my vacation request at work already and put my backup on notice. I need a break and what better place to do it at.

I'm fully aware it will be a mad house but I figure if I go in knowing it will be a mad house, it won't be as bad. We went for 10 days in August so this trip is just to satisfy the Disney craving.

Not telling the girls until we are getting in the cab for the airport.

are we the same person!? lol, we were just there in august and booked a last minute SB trip too! I'm pretty sure I have lost my mind, praying we can relax a bit and still have some fun in the parks even thought they will be a mad house!

That's awesome!! My mom and I went on a last minute trip in January. We had less than a week to plan everything but it wound up being one of our favorite trips. Hope you guys have a blast!

We booked a WDW trip in March 2014 on 5 days notice. By repeatedly going to My Disney Experience we were able to get many very good FP+s which pleasantly surprised us.

LOL That's hysterical! The moment DBF mentioned he would be gone the wheels starting turning.

I'm hoping for some pool time in the mornings and late nights at the parks. At least that's the goal.

The best part is I told them last night I was looking to see if we could go since daddy would be away but all the hotels were booked. They were so sad. I had to try again this morning and luckily Pop showed up.

Yea, last week we were there, and I scored a couple of good FPs plus a couple of good ADRs the day before we wound up going to them. I got TSMM and 7DMT on 1 day notice as well as an 8:30 p.m. ADR for the Boathouse. So keep trying. You never know.

Last minute trips are the best! One minute you were saying "what are we going to do for Easter break", next minute its " party time" Good for you!

I'm on the same boat. I booked our Spring Break trip last week and our trip is from 3/18~3/25.
I have been able to get FP for SDMT and TSMM so we are happy!

We did a last minute trip, booked in January and went the first week in February. Ii even had an Ohana ressie, but cancelled it. Many ressie's for ADR's open up 24 hours before since people cancel. You may not get your favorite TS restaurant, but there are so many other options now, especially at Disney Springs.
