I've read several posts recently about the affect of construction on atmosphere at the Dolphin resort. We are reserved there through the great Teacher's Rate. But now I am waffling on whether to switch to the Swan on the Recipe Club - we would spend an extra $80, over an eight night stay, to get $200 in meal/beverage vouchers which I am sure we could use but were not planning on eating that much at S/D. I know the Swan is all renovated with the 'heavenly beds', we stayed at the Swan in 2001 and liked it very much. Stick with the Dolphin? Switch? Am hoping for CL upgrade or resort view, balcony is not important to me. I am concerned about the construction impact . . . . your suggestions and input is, as always, greatly appreciated.

We are staying at the Swan for 8 days in Aug. it is our first stay at the Swan.
If I were you I would spend the extra $$ and go with the Swan, it looks like a lovely resort, and all the rooms are like new. And oh those heavenly beds, I've been reading about sound wonderful.

You've already stayed at the Dolphin, give the Swan a try and then you can decide which one you like better. I honestly would not want to stay someplace where construction is going on. We were thinking about the Poly alot but not with the construction, we'll do that when it's done.

Have a wonderful trip, whereever you decide to stay.

What is the recipe club?
