Last minute questions

Our first cruise is this Thursday and I was wondering do you think I could still call today and put funds (or a credit) into our ship account? Has anyone done this or is it just easier to give them your credit card when you get onboard?

Also for my DS who is 5, is there rootbeer on the ship?

The cc would be easier. I seem to remember trying to place credit on my dd cabin but was told it was too close to the sailing.But call DCL.
