We leave Monday and I would love any last minute insight on the electrical water parade and watching Wishes from the resort. I requested Tahiti and I don't think you can see the water parade from there...we have a MK view reserved. Can we swim and watch the fireworks from the pool? Thanks for the last minute tips!

We have never even stepped foot at the Poly so we are really excited to experience it fully!! :goodvibes

You're going to have a wonderful time at the Polynesian!!! :sunny:

If you've booked a MK view then you should absolutely be able to see the Electric Water Parade and Wishes from your room!!! Especially if you end up in Tahiti; since it's next to the Hawaii building and faces the lagoon and MK, you should have as clear of a view as we've had from Hawaii.

Unless I'm mistaken (and that's totally possible! lol) then I think ANY MK view in ANY room at the Polynesian should offer you a view of both. :3dglasses In other words, I can't think of any reason why a room that's a "Magic Kingdom view" category would NOT have a view of both. :scratchin

Hope this helps :)

Almost forget to say, YOU CAN DEFINITELY SWIM AND WATCH THE FIREWORKS AT THE SAME TIME!! This is one of my favorite things to do at the resort!!! :)

wowie! Thanks seaspray :goodvibes I have a couple more questions...

Is the pool crowded at night during the fireworks?

What time does the water parade start?

I just got back from the Poly last night!

You can definitely see the fireworks and the water parade from any MK room at the Polynesian. As for the pool being crowded during the fireworks, I didn't see that happening when I was there. My room was right across from the volcano pool (in Samoa) and when we stepped out to watch the fireworks beside the pool it wasn't extremely busy. This can vary though.

The start times for the water parade can vary. When we were there, Wishes startred at 9pm and the EWP started at 10pm. The resort information channel on the TV also gives these times.

Enjoy your stay at the Poly! :thumbsup2 I'm already going through withdrawal.

We just got home from the POLY last week. Watching the fireworks from the pool was one of my DS's favorite things to do! The nights we were there the pool itself was not too crowded however, most people were on the beach watching the fireworks. You can't hear the music from the pool.

The water parade starts at 9:00pm, it lasts for about 15 minutes.

We returned from the Polynesian in July and booked a MK view in the Tahiti building. We watched the Water Parade and Wishes every night from the room. A few of the nights we watched while swimming in the Volcano pool. It's an excellent resort and I can't wait to stay there in 2009! :)
