My daughter and I are leaving Thursday for the world and were planning on driving down (10 hours). I'm considering trying to find a last minute flight. If we get a flight, can we use Disney's Magical Express or does it have to be prebooked? We are staying at Pop Century.

You're suppose to prebook. You can call the day before and probably even the morning of your flight. You won't get the yellow tags but they can still find your bags with your claim tickets

I believe Disney's contract with the airport for ME requires all passengers to prebook at least 24 hours in advance. The contract does not allow walk-ups.

I had a conversation awhile ago with our TA and he mentioned something about walk ups and since you are staying at a Disney resort they will still take you. They just like to know ahead of time for obvious reasons. That being said I would still call ahead of time and not just walk up. Good luck.

Technically, they aren't supposed to allow any walkups to board the bus. But, it does happen.
Having said that...I would find a flight that gets you to MCO on the day you arrive, even one you would possibly book. Call DME and book a ride on the bus, giving them this flight info. If you decide to drive, no big deal. But if you decide to fly, you'll be good to go, with no worries.
