Last Minute Jiko ADR's

Hi all,

Has anyone had any luck lately in getting a last minute Jiko ADR? I've had my ADR's pretty much set for 5 months and now DH deceides that he wants to eat at Jiko not Boma...arggghhhh. I'm not about to cancel Boma if we cannot get into Jiko...it should also be noted that this is for the end of Sept/beginning of Oct.

Don't cancel Boma until after you have Jiko booked. That shouldn't create a problem.

Has anyone had any luck lately in getting a last minute Jiko ADR?

We stayed at AKL last week, a last minute trip without any ADRs before we got there. Called Tuesday evening and was able to get 7:20 ADR (for 2) for Wednesday.
Of course, it may be quite a bit more difficult for the time period you'll be there.

You never know until you call! Don't mention anything about canceling a reservation, just making one. If they have it available, then cancel Boma.

are you staying at AKL? We were there during a busy time last summer, and were able to get in Jikos twice, same day ADRs by checking at the desk
