Tonight, I received an e-mail from WDW stating:Last-Minute Magic!
Get 30% off Disney Deluxe Resorts for stays most nights Dec. 25, 2009 through Jan. 2, 2010.


One e-mail isn't a trend - but I can't imagine this means holiday bookings are going swimingly.

Yikes--I can't remember the last time there was a discount available between Xmas and New Year's. Everybody must be scaling down to the values and moderates this year--but don't worry, the recession is over!

I got one too.

We can't use it though. DH said there is no way in the very hot place that he would ever go during the 2 weeks of Christmas. Darn.

I got the same email, I will NOT be going between Christmas and new years! even 80% off would not get me in those crowds!

We did Dec.22-29 2006 for our very first trip to WDW.
Came home from that trip saying we would never again go at christmas
break. I am not at home right now, so I don't think we have got an email.
Will post here if we do though.
We are going Dec.1st-15th and even if we got one of these I don't think I could convince Dh to stay for the whole month.
