We were lucky enough to win tickets at a silent auction and want to use them before our other vacations take up days and money :rolleyes2 So, we're now thinking Feb 27 - March 2. Quick trip but a nice escape. I'm spoiled going in September though so I'm worried about crowds and weather. Anyone been during this time? We want relaxing so we won't do parks all day but also don't want to fight crowds just to walk from ride to ride. Also, it's his first trip so I want it to go well!! :cloud9: Thanks!!

According to all the Spring Break polls and chatter on here, it looks as if Spring Break really doesn't start until the 2nd week of March. I would think your time frame would be ok:)

We'll be there at the same time. Easywdw.com has the crowds at 4-6; so moderate. Have a look at their park recommendation to help select the least crowded park each datpy.

we were there that week last year ( well- like 2/24 to 3/1) and it wasn't bad. MK was crowded in the afternoon the day we were there...but we went back from like 7:30-10 at night, and rode everything pretty much walk on. other parks weren't bad either- we got to epcot at RD and went right to soarin, had like a 10/15 minute wait? at AK, we rode Everest 2 times with maybe 15 minute wait each time, safari we pretty much walked on to during the afternoon parade... so i would say its a good week to go! :-)

The crowd level will be on the moderate side; maybe a little busier as you'll be there over the weekend. Enjoy!

Thanks all! We're going to monitor the weather and see if its worth it. Goal is to get away from this cold!!! I do feel better about that weekend though. Fingers crossed it works out!

It was colder in Florida then it was in Denver, Colorado in the last couple days.... you never know!

We booked! Itll be a short trip but Id love to get out of this northeast weather. Even 60s dont seem bad! Time to book a few last minute dining options!

RustManFan - Praying that its not that way for our trip! :scared:

We are just back and it was 39 degrees one morning and 45 another! Daytime highs our last 2 days were low 50's. That being said, we are also from the northeast, so while it was chilly, we were thrilled to see the sun, blue skies, green trees and grass and NO SNOW!!! Did not ruin our trip at all...Enjoy your trip, looks like it has warmed up nicely down there since we returned home lol!

Agreed! We'll be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A couple of chances of showers but they seems to be only a sprinkle. Regardless - goodbye snow!! I hope you had a nice trip :)

We were there in March in 2013, and it was surprisingly cold. I would bring layering clothes so you're prepared for anything!

I was there during that time frame last year. Crowds were much thicker than I was expecting, but we still had a great trip. Rope Drop is still your best friend.
