Hello,
okay so here is my situation we are leaving for Florida next week (thursday)
we need a home for 7, i was looking at some homes that are left over- of course not great ones but mediocre.
for april 18-23
if you have stayed at any of these areas please let me know how they are it will be greatly appreciated or if you know any good houses that are still available let me know. thanks!!

1. trafalgar village resort
2. Indian point
3. Aldea reserve
4. sunset lakes

any input/negative or positive much appreciated thanks!!

Sunset Lakes is in the Formosa Gardens area just a little past Emerald Island. It is a gated community and seems very nice. I can't vouch for any of the homes since they are individually owned. It's about 7 - 10 min to Disney AK.
Here's a map to show you where it is: http://www.thedibb.co.uk/villa-map.php
Trafalgar village is in Davenport quite far from Disney, Indian Point is on south Poincianna and Aldea is in Davenport also. Sunset Lakes would be the closest.
We usually stay in the Formosa Gardens area because it's quick to get to Disney and there's lots of restaurants and shops within 3 or 4 min.

Did you try renting from owners on these sites:
www.Homeaway.com or www.vrbo.com for Kissimmee?

Windsor Hills: www.windsorhillsrent.com
Windsor Palms http://www.windsor-palms-florida.net/
Emerald Island www.StayAtEmeraldIsland.com

We stayed in this home last year: www.larwoodvilla.com. We really liked the house and will be staying there again this year. I just checked and it´s still available for the dates you mentioned. Really nice owners and great management company.

anyone know about the aldea reserve area, is it a gated community?

I looked at quite a few sites and it doesn't mention that it's gated. They usually say if they are, it's one of the selling points.

thanks!! i also think it is very essential to stay in a gated area esp for visitors! you never know whose around

I've seen some good rates for Coral Cay 3 or 4 bedroom townhomes for your dates.

what are good rates? (depends on person to person)
coral cay is a good area? close to disney? gated community?
what website did you see the deals at?

also random question, whats the difference between a villa and a home??

thanks for your help!! :thumbsup2
