Last minute Halloween Party advice!

DD and I are going to the halloween party tonight. We do not have other tickets, and plan to arrive as early as possible to get in at 4pm. Do you think M&F will already be crowded/blocked off at 3:30? Should we head straight to Toy Story?

Also, will they give us a ticket to be able to collect fast passes between 4pm and the start of the party?

Best places/time to sit for parade and fireworks?

I don't know the answer to your question but I thought the ticket only got you into DL, will it get you into both parks?

Sorry I now realize you were talking about parking lots and not rides. Haha sorry I have been no help at all.

I'm not sure about the parking, but yes, you will get an actual ticket that you can use for FP during the overlap.

For fireworks, the best spot will be front of the hub, very slightly to the right of center. However, to get this spot you'd have to camp out for at least an hour or more, and IMO, not worth it. On Wednesday we walked up 20 minutes before the show and were right before the break they set up for crossing Main Street by the photo center/coke corner. You do want to be on the right side of the street, as the trees can block The projection globe if you are on the left.

We went to MHP this past Wednesday, it was pretty busy but the lines for rides were very short. I passed by HMH and the wait was only 20 minutes, I think everyone is in line for candy or to take picture with characters.

For the parade, I noticed that if you sit between the hub and churro cart on the right side of the castle, you get a really good view of the parade. They walk straight towards you, and since there is a slight curve in the route, the floats slow down a bit and characters spend a little more time interacting with guest here. Sorry, I didn't see what time they rope off this area to let you start sitting on the road, but ask a CM.

Right after the parade, we walked to the front of the castle to stake out a spot for the fireworks. We were able to get a spot right in front of the Hub! I think we waited 45 minutes in this spot, not too bad IMO. This spot fills up quickly, but the view is awesome.
