We are leaving Friday for our trip! I have a few open dining spots and most of the great places that require ADRs are full. I was never able to get into Ohana or Chef Mickey's, even 3 months ago.

Does anyone have any suggestions for last minute reservations where the food is good but they might not be full? We are staying at the GF and already have scheduled 1900PF, Akershus, CRT, Coral Reef, and the Garden Grill.

I want to fill my schedule but cant find anything quality that is available.

Thoughts? What about Liberty Tree?

We have two young children - 6 and 3.

THanks!

We went to Liberty Tree a few years ago for lunch and we liked it. We are actually going back there again this trip. Another favorite of ours is Kona. They had wonderful prime rib. (BTW, We can't get into Ohanas either)

We liked San Angel over in Mexico, we have been going there over the last 13 years, this will be our 6th Disney World trip, and we have never been disappointed.

Le Cellier is wonderful, but doubt you can get into that one but you can try.

That is a few off the top of my head. We usually have a small list of must dos and then try some new places mixed in.

We used to go to LTT when the characters were there - we wouldn't go there for dinner without the characters - the food by itself isn't worth it IMO.

Here's a few options (not sure if adrs would be available or not):

The Plaza - good sandwiches & fabulous desserts
50's PTC - fun atmosphere and good food
Teppan Edo - the chefs are entertaining, fun experience & good food

Maybe check out some of the resorts or downtown disney dining options.
Planet Hollywood is fun and good food
I have never been to ragland road but it gets good reviews.
Wolgang Puck

Olivias @ OKW is reallly good.
Cape May Clambake @ Beach Club seems kindof popular though

Biergarten is fun for kids and good food.

Yak and Yeti.

The Wave? We haven't been yet, but have it booked for our next trip and the reviews seem really good.
Teppan Edo was one of our favorites last year!
Keep trying for the ones you haven't been able to get, things open up at random times!

We have had good meals at Kona at the Poly. It seems like you can get ADRs there on short notice.

We also once had ADRs at LTT. My DH looked at the menu and said he really didn't want it. Grr... So he went over to Tony's and was told that if we could be there at exactly 4:30 when they opened up for dinner we could get in. I don't know if that would work every day or every time of year, but it's worth a shot if you really want a table service dinner on short notice.

I've generally been able to get an ADR at Le Chefs de France and have always enjoyed it there too. Plus IMO they have menu items that are kid friendly.

Have you considered either Kona Cafe or Grand Floridian Cafe? Both are quiet and relatively unknown but offer delicious food for all three meals. You can usually snag a reservation on short notice.

I also like the Plaza at the Magic Kingdom for a nice lunch on a particularly hot day.

look for Saturday. Biergarten had some open times and is one of my favorites. 50s Prime Time and Cape May had dinner times available. The Wave has availability and, in my opinion, has pretty good food. Also Kona should be available.

BTW, if you aren't already using it use the date range option on the online system. For example CG has an early opening on Tuesday.

Marrakesh! It's one of those restaurants that I find highly underrated! The food and service is always great!

Captain's Grill (at Yacht Club)
Wolfgang Puck (downstairs) at DTD

Loved them both - got both last minute.

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch is wonderful! My son ordered salmon cakes and loved them. I had the Colony Salad without the chicken and found it to be incredibly tasty and very, very filling. My husband had the Angus Chuck Cheeseburger with bacon and he thought it was one of the best burgers he has had in a long time. Dessert was wonderful, too. We tried the Three Chocolate Browning, Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake and the Caramel Apple Tart. All three were wonderful, especially the tart. :goodvibes

Another place we love that easy to get into to is Marrakesh. We have gone several times and have always had very good food and service. My husband and son went last month and they said it was fantastic. My son had the shish kebabs while my husband tried the lemon chicken. They both had the Bastilla for dessert. My son loved it so much he wants to go back next year..maybe twice. :lmao:

You might have some luck getting into Kona which is also a really good place to eat. Although, we do prefer the breakfast to dinner. Both are very good, though.

I have heard good things about the Grand Floridian Cafe. I'm hoping to try it out one of these trips. The menus look very good.

Good luck and have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

Some of my faves that usually have last-minute openings:

Chefs de France
Tutto Italia
Tokyo Dining
Marrakesh
Kona
Boma
GF Cafe
LTT - lunch only

We went on a last minute trip last year and were able to get into Liberty Tree pretty easily and we loved it. In fact it is now one of my husbands favorites. Good luck and have fun!

Plaza is often easy to get into and we really enjoy eating there! It is a nice break!

Another vote for the Grand Floridian Cafe or Liberty Tree Tavern lunch.

Another vote for Grand Floridian Cafe or how about Yak and Yeti at AK? We were actually able to watch the Jammin Jungle Parade from inside the restaurant.:cool1:
