If Universal is an option the answer is YES go! Its always worth it.

Hey famof5, we are going down the same time, and I don't think it will be that bad. There's a thread with a poll of when everyone has spring break. The week before Easter (this week) and the week after Easter are the busiest.

I think a lot of the New England states have the 4/15 - 4/20 off, but NY and others including private schools have their spring break earlier.

We are going to stay at a condo for a few days and then head to Nickeleon Hotel for 2 or 3 nights. They had great rates for that week.

Thanks everyone! We are going! However, only for 4 days (2 days in the park). I figured we go to one park a day.

My kids are older and are looking forward to the flight as much as the park. It should be a nice, spontaneous vacation!

I called my hotel to see what they said about being busy. they told me that the busiest time is this week and the next. I still expect it to be busy though!
