My DD really wants to eat lunch at the Whispering Canyon Cafe @ the Wilderness Lodge.

Not sure when we will fit it in.
We will be at WDW the last week of June - the week just before 4th of July week - the busy time at WDW.

Do you think we could call in the AM for a lunch ADR the same day ?
I was thinking of Sunday, 6/25 lunch.

Should I do an ADR now anyway ? If we decide not to go - I would be polite and cancel in the AM of 6/25.

My DD will have a birthday button on - we are doing Cindy's breakfast in the AM for her. Does Whispering Canyon Cafe also do antics for kids birthday's ?
She would not mind the attention :goodvibes

Can we take a boat :boat: to WL from the Polynesian ?

Thanks for your advice :surfweb:

I'd make ADRs now, but they may require more than same day notice of a cancellation. Some places require 48 hours notice of they will charge you $10 for every person in the party. Find out when you book. I do know that they require a reservation for certain. We found that out when we made our ADRs for May.

I would make ADR's now. You can cancel the day of without any problems at WCC.

You would have to take a boat to MK first and then get one to WL or ride the monorail to Contemporary or MK and then get a boat.

They usually make a big deal about birthdays but it also can be dependant on who you get as your server.

The charges for late cancellation only apply to ADRs that are "secured" with a credit card, like the character meals.

Even in the slow times, because WL and VWL are so popular, it is always busy. Only when the resort first opened were we able just to walk up and sit down to eat. There is always a long wait even with ADR's when I go. I end up at the bar and get nachos and a burger and milkshake.
