Last minute deals??

Good friends of ours decided last night to go to Disney... on Thursday.

They've booked a hotel off site; I'm trying to convince them to stay on site, and maybe get the meal plan. Some questions:

Is there a way to find out which hotels still have openings? There are 3 of them: a married couple and her brother the priest. So I imagine they want 2 rooms, although they wouldn't necessarily have to be adjoining.

They're AAA members. How would they get the AAA discount?

Is it possible to get the meal plan at the last minute? And is it worth doing, or are all the best choices for restaurants and times long gone?

I've read several posts on this site that talk about Expedia rates and Orbitz rates. I would try website like those and see who have the best rates.
As far as the meal plan - I say give it a shot. Since they are adults they can be flexible with dinner times and hopefully get what they want. Good Luck!

There are generally not last minute deals like you are asking about.
Their best bet is to call a AAA agent and book with them, if they want a WDTC package, or call Disney direct.
