I know that usual the ship sails full (especially during the summer). Is there any way to get decent rate of a cruise (preferably 3 or 4 day) without a lot of notice??
www.vacationstogo.com has a search feature that I've used to find cheap last minute DCL cruises. They aren't often (if ever) reduced during the summer though......
The one time I booked thru Vactionstogo, I wasn't very happy. They used Airborne express to deliver the documents....they were left on my porch without a signature or anything, and a neighborhood dog tore them up! I had to be very ugly and insist that VTG pay the replacement fee as I'd never actually received the docs! My suggestion is to book thru DCL...you can then transfer the ressie to a discount agent if you'd like.
