We're going to WDW this week. We arrive on Thursday, go to MVMCP on Friday, then EPCOT on Saturday. I have kept this trip a secret from my kids, and my DD is the one that needs DAS. I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I was planning to make the call to request DAS on Thursday, once we're at the resort. I've never waited until last minute before, so I wonder if there's any issues I haven't considered. Is it a bad idea?

Also, if we're denied DAS this time, my plan is to get LLMP, assuming we can get it last minute. It's not ideal, but it would be better than nothing. I'd love to hear from others who have used it instead of DAS. How do the return times work? Are they flexible at all? Our days can be quite unpredictable.

I'm not sure if LLMP entirely sells out, however waiting to purchase it may lock you out of some of the most popular attractions and/or less-desirable times. LLMP allows you to pre-book up to 3 attractions; then within the park you can book more on a rolling basis as you use each one pending availability.

You might want to check out THIS THREAD on the TPAS forum. It's a long thread but maybe you can skim it to get an idea of how well LLMP is working.
