we will be in the orlando area for 3 weeks Nov 17- Dec 6 and don't have anything planned out for our last 5 days. We thought a 3-4 day cruise might be fun but don't really want to plan anything now and see once we get down there what we want to do. do they offer any last minute deals or are they going to be outragous. what would be our chance of even getting on? We thought it might actually be a pretty good time being it is the week after Thanksgiving. any suggestions? will be traveling with 6,3,1yr olds plus myself and MIL.

I can't answer your question about the deals, but just make sure your bring your birth certificates with you in case you do decide to go.

Your best deal with Disney Cruise Line is to book early. They do not offer last minute deals, in fact prices rise as the early booking tiers are sold. You would need a stateroom that holds 5 people, so that would be at least a category 4.

The weeks surrounding a major holiday such as Thanksgiving are also prime time, so it is not likely you would find a low price, even if there were availability.

Some other cruise lines that cannot fill their ships do offer last minute deals however. Good luck! :)

allseastravel.com has a cat 4 on 11/30 listed on their web site. Five people is $3429. The Wonder sails on 11/30 and returns 12/4. I would not wait till the very last minute! Call around!

I just have a hunch that's going to be a REALLY, REALLY fun cruise. ;) :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I have looked into last minute travel deals on Disney cruises in the past and you can find some decent deals. I just looked at www.lastminutetravel.com and found reasonable prices. They only price cruises within the next 60 days, so you have to be ready to go pretty quickly. The prices I found with a quick check were $1000 for a mid november 4 day for 2 people and 1600 for an ealry december 7 day eastern for 2 people. On the 7 day, it included everything but insurance, not sure what was included on the 4 day. Might be worht checking to see if they have dates you would like. The one time I called them to ask some questions, they were very helpful. They even directed me to some deals that were not on their website. They offered me roundtrip air from San Francisco(I am in Northern Cali) to Maui for $161 per person if I could leave in the next 7 days! Good luck

I just did another quick check. Allseastravel is $2344 for 2 people on Nov 30 in a cat 4. www.lastminutetravel.com is $1943 for the same cruise with the same things included. On the website they do not give the option to add others to the room, but I am sure if you give them a call they can do that too! A phone call may be worth $400 savings or more if they discount the additional passengers too.

I have also seen good last minute discounts on DCL cruises at VACATIONSTOGO.COM. They list them 90 days out. I think it would be alot of fun to do a spur of the moment cruise!!:D
