Le Cellier was the one restaurant on our DxDP that we weren't able to make an advance reservation for our trip last week. Up until the day before, they were booked solid - but we managed to grab a 2:20pm lunchtime in a last effort.

That day we made our way through Epcot faster than expected, and arrived about 40min early. The hostess was kind enough to seat us early (shocked). I should add that all the servers were very pleasant, and considerate to our 2yo son's little fit that occurred when we first were seated.

The pretzel sticks were a huge hit with him/us, and a great way to prepare for the meal to come. It was a warm day - so wanting to save our appetites for the main course, we just ordered the soup. Which was superb.

For our main course...
I had the Fillet mignon w/mushroom risotto and white truffle oil.
My DH had the NY Strip I believe... I didn't care - I was in heaven. My goodness, it was cooked to absolute perfection, and the mushroom in the risotto was like butter. Wow!!! Highly, HIGHLY Recommend. I was a little full afterwards, so just ordered the little kids moose mousse, and shared it with my little one. DH ordered the chocolate cake that had the mouse in it as well.

All of our dining experiences were phenomenal. Each meal became better than the one before, with Le Cellier being the last stop on our list. Of course my 5yo would be split between Whispering Canyon (he loved the shouts for ketchup) and Tusker House (because all his favorite characters were there, plus the animal safari expedition that followed).

If I could take a moment to add one more, must not miss, recommendation... Tusker house's Character breakfast, before 9am. Our ressie was at 8:15, and we were able to see all the main characters (Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Pluto & Goofy). What an incredible experience for my boys - and the guava juice was TDF. ;) The waitress was also wonderful and brought a complimentary birthday cupcake for my 2yo, along with a card signed by all the characters. Afterwards we headed immediately over to the Animal Expedition Tour - turns out it was a great time of day to go, because all of the animals were out :)

Sounds like you had a wonderful meal. Thanks for sharing.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can get a reservation for Le Cellier for our August Vacation. I'm dying to try the Fillet Mignon and cheese soup. Its nice to read soome good reviews since I've heard both hot and cold on Le Cellier.
