last minute cancellation options?

i have ressies for a studio at SSR 11/23,24,25 and my son's asthma has been so bad at night that I have not been able to sleep with his constant coughing, I don't think I can handle being in that small room at disney with the chance of pet hair and/or 2nd hand smoke. I am up now again. He is on a nebulizer.

what are my options? call MS to cancel? sell my reservation? I am using 2005 points and my use year is Feb.

I have another ressie for 12/31-1/4/05 so I don't think he will be too upset for missing these couple of days.

Poor kid! Sorry he's not doing well. I don't know much about asthma...are there other medications he might try?

You can try to rent your reservation on the rent & trade board...worth a shot...especially at a busy time of year. It is very late notice, though. You could try ebay, too.

At this point, you cannot cancel the reservation as it has already been charged to your account (you can't cancel the day of check in).

I'd go ahead and go, unless your child is too sick to travel. The likelyhood of pet hair and/or smoke in your room is very low and you might find that a few days of Disney "magic" may be just what you all need.
