DD15 lost her camera on the last day of our trip. She realized it as we were boarding the Magical Express bus on our way to the airport. She is (I am, too) absolutely heartbroken. All of our character meal pictures were taken with this camera.

We spent the last day (Friday, June 8th) resort-hopping. We were at the Beach Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and All Star Music. We think it was lost at the Beach Club. I've called each resort's Lost and Found several times. No one has turned it in.

So, I'm hoping perhaps a DISer may have found it.

It's a Kodak EasyShare C743. It was in a black case. The LCD screen was cracked (a Rock N Roller Coaster mishap).

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I know there are people with worse problems and we were fortunate to get to go on this trip. We're just pretty bummed about losing our pictures.

Sorry this happened to you...but look on the good side. Even if it is not return (and chances are it wont be) you will need to take the trip again and relive every wonderful moment!;)

Keep checking with the resort and also check with the others just in case. My 16 year old cousin lost her cell phone that same day (June 8) on Space Mountain and luckily the nice CM helped her find it, then let her ride again since there was no one waiting. Hopefully some kind person will turn it in when they find it.

So sorry! We was on our honeymoon and one of our storage cards decided to malfunction so we lost some photos too. It is very heartbreaking! Keep calling the resorts! Perhaps someone will at least turn in your film/storage card!

:sad2: I feel for you. Several years ago I let my then 4 year old take pictures of her sisters bday party at Chef Mickey's on one of our disposable cameras and she laid it down on the table and we left it in WDW. It had all my 2 year old birthday pics with Mickey and friends and some of their character meet and greets. I didnt realize it until we were already headed home. :sad1: Nobody turned it in unfortunately. Probably before their were dissers everywhere:thumbsup2 I hope your camera is found and returned. :goodvibes

Sorry to here this, wish you the best on getting it back.

The same exact thing happened to me on our last trip to WDW (in Feb., 2007). My dh, dd, ds and I were boarding a bus (from the BC's bus stop) to Downtown Disney and I left my camera behind on the bench we were sitting at. I didn't realize I left it behind until we got to Downtown Disney. My husband had just bought me this camera the month before our trip for my birthday. All of our vacation pictures were on the camera and I was so upset that I thought I was going to be sick. My husband hopped a bus from Downtown Disney back to the BC and went directly to the lobby where someone had turned it in for us. My husband told the man at the desk that “If it wasn’t inappropriate, he’d kiss him”. I tried to find out who turned it in for us later that day but the desk staff said that they had no way of tracking down who helped us. I have been "paying it forward" ever since.

I will say a prayer for you tonight, because for a brief moment I knew exactly how you and your daughter felt. Don't give up. I would call everyday.

Good luck!
