Is there a graduation ceremony at the end of our stay on Jan 2 2010? If so, does anyone know where and what time? My friends and family are coming up the last week of December 26-Jan 2 and I was wondering if they are able to attend the ceremony?

When I did the Fall 08 Cp, the graduation picnic dates were December 7, 8, and 9. They do it then so more people can attend. If they did it closer to when you leave, many could not get off from their busy christmas time schedules. Also, it is just a picnic not a ceremony that is held at Mickey's Retreat, a cast recreation area. So family does not attend but it is still a very fun event.

I thought Mickey's Retreat was for Cast Members and their families like it says on the site?? Or do families just usually not go?

Mickey's Retreat is for cast members and their guests. The graduation picnic is just held there. I think they just close down the beach side for the picnic and leave the tennis courts and basketball side open for regular cast members. When I went to my graduation picnic, I didn't see any relatives there, just cps with there graduate mickey ears, though I did see some families over at the tennis courts and basketball courts who didn't seem like they were a part of the picnic and were just enjoying the park.

Do all CPs get the graduation ears, or just those who take classes while they're there?

Every Cp gets one of the graduation ears. If you want, its tradition for cps to go to MK after the picnic, so they can wear their ears there. You can also get your name stitched onto the back of your ears (its free for us).

It is. But for graduation, it is just for CPs (no outside guests).
