Last Day Ideas???

We are leaving our resort at 12:00 noon for the airport on the day we go home. Any ideas/suggs. on what we may do that morning without visiting a park? We are staying at All Star Sports and our family consists of DH, myself, DS7, DD4 and DS2. TIA for any ideas on how we can enjoy one "Last Disney Hurrah" before heading home!

We always do a character breakfast - - typically 1900 because the face characters will be sad with us that we are leaving - once the Mad Hatter tried to convince us to stay - what fun!

We also did Chef Mickey's one day before we left when we had a bday boy!

We usually take one last whirl through DTD to pick up last minute souveniers, browse, hang out, etc.

we had a similar schedule on our last trip. We had breakfast at CP and then let each child choose the thing he most wanted to do.


ooops, i just realized you said, without visiting a park. I am going to leave this question to those who go more often than we do - they generally have better ideas about this stuff.

We saved most of our souvenier shoppping at DTD for our last day! With lunch at Earl of Sandwich if you have time!

OK - but if you go to say Chef Mickeys or DTD, how do you pick up magical express without having to go back to your home resort (time consuming!)? Also, I thought DTD didn't really open up shops until late morning. Is that true?

Not sure about ME.

DTD opens at 9:30 am.

the ME you can talk to your resort and ask them what time the bus is picking the gst up at POR or PORQ and you can just jumb on the river cruise and take that ME.

We are in the same situation and have looked at the "Pirates cruise" for our 5yo and 4yo. It is from 9:30 to 11:30, I think, and the kids go on a treasure hunt. They get pirate hats with Mickey ears that they get to keep and ride on a pirate boat to "look for treasure"!

We thought it might be a great way to end the trip!

We are doing a character breakfast on our last morning (a half day) but will change that if DS might enjoy a swim in the pool or run around DTD more!

We would get the late check out which is at 1:00 and just hang around the pool till it was time to go..

We rented surry bikes and played in the arcade - that was aimed at the kids having a last bit of fun (and tiring them out for the plane ride back).
