So our flight home on our last day is at 6pm. I know magical express picks up at 3 but wondering what to do before that. Checkout is 11. Should we go to a park for the morning. Stay at the pool. Downtown disney? What do you do when you have a later flight? Will we be able to keep our bags at the resort?

All of your ideas are good ones, just pick the one you would enjoy the most. Keep in mind travel time back to your resort though so you don't miss ME bus. You can check your bags with bell services at your hotel. Have done it many times, works great. We usually pick somewhere special to eat lunch on the last day. Then make our way back to the hotel. Have fun.

I suggest you just keep the day open. Depending how the rest of the trip goes, you might want to hit a park to do something you missed, shop for that thing you forgot to get, or if you have hoppers, hit 2 or more parks re-riding favorites.

If your last night was a super late one, then sleeping in and laying by the pool might sound best.

It can also be a good day to hit a water park if you can't fit it in earlier.

The resort will hold your carry on luggage and check your main luggage in for your flight. Just keep a small bag with you with swimming stuff (even it you don't "plan" on swimming). The bathrooms near the pool are fine for changing before picking up ME - If I remember right they even have showers with soap.

Tomorrow is our last day. Our flight is at 5:45. We have 8 am Crystal Palace reservations and then we plan to make our way around MK and hit all the things that are still on our to-do list.

You can definitely store your bags there at the resort. Personally, we never do a pool day on our last day--just don't want to pack soaking wet bathing suits for the trip home! I know, weird, but that's just my thought on it!

How about scheduling a later breakfast/early lunch? Or as a PP mentioned, leave it as an open day and hit whatever park you all decide. There's definitely enough time to go and enjoy several rides. Now with FP+ you can even have those scheduled ahead of time.

Personally, we have a tradition of spending our last morning at MK. Just something about the walk down Main Street being the last of the trip.

I would do exactly what you want and what you feel like your family needs! :goodvibes

When I have had a 6:00pm flight for mother/daughter trip - we were staying at POR. We did an early resort check-in for our flight, sent our bags on their way, and put our carry on luggage at Bell Services at POR. After a great breakfast at Park Fare at the GF, we went to DTD, did some shopping, had lunch and then took the boat back to POR and were there in plenty of time for our 3 o'clock Magical Express bus. It was a nice end to our trip plus we wanted to pick up some last minute souvies and gifts.

We are in a similar situation our flight is 4:30. That makes our ME at 1:30 (and remember that is when it leaves so you are supposed to be there at least 15 minutes before - add in even more time if you have to get luggage or carry-ons from bell services). Of course we would probably just check our luggage in the morning but that eats some of our morning time (staying at CBR so it isn't super easy to get to the lobby.) When I add in the travel time from a park (planning at least an hour for that) I decided I would probably be too worried about being late to enjoy a park. After a week of making rope drop (or close to it), I decided we would sleep in and enjoy our resort and a leisurely lunch instead.

Our flight is at 6PM too. We are going to HS and I fast passed our favorites for 11, 12 and 1. We will then break for lunch and do some last minute shopping. Then high tail it back to the hotel.

My family did a half day at MK the day we left during our last trip. We did our favorites and got fast passes for Space for 3:00 (legacy was still available) but our magical express was scheduled to pick us up at 4:15. We rode space and ran back to our bus stop. We managed to pull up exactly when the Magical Express did. It was stressful but super worth it to get a great ride photo! I recommend doing something that you did not get to accomplish and don't sweat getting back to the bus. Have a great trip!

This is our situation too! (I'm happy to say!) We will have used up all our park days so I know we will be finally sleeping in. Since we are staying at POFQ I was thinking we could eat lunch at DTD and do some last minute shopping. (I know I don't want to be swimming before I board a plane.) I also was wondering about the bowling alley.

We always try to get the latest flight out. We check out at 11, leave our bags at bell services and head to DTD. We eat at WPE and do some last minute shopping, before heading back to our resort to catch the ME. :)

We head to DTD (our flight is also usually between 6pm to 7pm, although we get a town car, not MDE.) We check out of the resort and get them to hold our bags. We headed to DTD, pin trade, buy some Goofy's Candy and Earl of Sandwich for the plane ride, buy a few last minute souvenirs, grab lunch and then head back to the resort to be picked up.

Our flight is 8pm but intl so DME is around 3/4pm.

Mornings are ALWAYS the same. Mega stress packing and arguing why I leave this to the last minute. Drop bags bell services. Head out to MK. Get back to resort around 1:30/2pm to swim and shower. No way in heck I am getting on a 9 hr overnight flight wet from park sweat. Somswimming right before pickup is our tradition.

Seems like a lot of us do the same thing - DTD! Nice lunch at somewhere like Raglan Road, bit of shopping, chill out!! This year we might try the bowling before we go.

We always do a late breakfast at Chef Mickeys & then, depending on the season, go to the different resorts on the monorail. Last year doing this was great as the Christmas decorations were up & we went to see all the gingerbread buildings they had. :)

I try to do a character breakfast (late if possible) that last morning and maybe a fast pass or two. I was even considering a spa/salon appointment for a mani/pedi this time to really unwind before heading home and repair any damage from a week in the parks.

Just remember if you check your luggage that you will need any items purchased afterward to fit in your carry on. Speaking from experience....
