IS anyone else disappointed in the new format? They used to stick the comedians in a house together and have them battle it out in challenges. Now they just do stad up in front of an audience every week..BORING. And the comics aren't even funny!

Yeah I havent been real thrilled with this season, and the judges are BEYOND annoying..

I am watching. I did not really watch the previous seasons enough to compare.

I have to say I like it. I am not a fan of all the "behind the scenes".

I like Myq and a couple of other ones. I do admit watching for Giraldo.:lmao:

I loved it when they were all in the house together. Now it's just like every other talent show on tv now (soooo sick of the talent shows, are there no writers & actors anymore? Sorry, small pet peeve)

Remember, I think it was the first season, hide & seek in the house? :lmao:

Dat Phan was left "hiding" for like an hour! Man I hated Dat Phan. I loved Dave Mordal that year and the rat faced guy (Rich Voss?). John Heffron is still my favorite winner of seasons past.

It is very boring. The comics are not funny, yet the judges never have anything bad to say about their non-funny routine.

I was a huge fan of the show the first couple of years. I loved the year when it was Ralphie May and Dat Phan in the house. Dat Phan asked if they wanted to play hide and seek, and they all told him to go hide and Ralphie would go look for him. The camera shows him trying to find a tough hiding spot...then he's yelling at the camera to go away, because he was going to give him away. Then we see Ralphie lounging in a chair reading a book/magazine. He never had any intentions of going to find him. Dat came out after and hour or so...saw Ralphie sitting there, and went postal. All the comics were rolling on the floor laughing.:lmao:

Rich Vos and Dave Mordell were my favorites. They used to be interviewed in the bathtub together.:lmao::lmao:

Put the comics back in a house...take them to a nightclub for a head-to-head and let the nighclub audience pick the winner. Get back to the original format.

We posted at the same time! :lmao:

I don't generally like "reality" shows. The "house" part of it was like that and I NEVER watched that part - just the stand-up part. So, I much prefer the present format. I do think that the judges are too accepting. The routines are not as good as they seem to think.

I think it stinks this year! I agree with previous posters..the season with Rich Voss and Dave Mordal was so funny, even though Dat Phan won:confused3 I went to see Rich and Dave in NYC and they were hilarious. I also loved Jon Hefron.

Remember a few seasons ago (maybe last season?) when it got moved from NBC to Comedy Central because the ratings were so bad?

Well... this season is a lot worse! The comics they chose are not that funny. The judges are annoying and never say anyhing bad to the comics about their set. Just well I thought it was okay....... hello....It stunk!

I could go to the mall and find funnier people. DH said the format has been changed since it got moved mid season.

Glad others are seeing what we are seeing. Wonder if there will even be a next season?
