Well, I am leaving California just in time...

Conan The Barbarian is now our governor.

Maybe I'll just stay in Florida!!!

We leave in less than 3 days. 2 day, 6 hours to be exact.

Now Paul, don't be too hard on Tim. I have travelled across the entire state of Michigan with him behind the wheel, and I lived to tell about it!

Anyhow, for the rest of us that aren't going on a 4-day cruise ahead of time and/or going to WDW for the week, we've finally made it into single digits!!!!!

Just when I thought I couldn't possibly get any more , I got into the single digits, I got really !
Mickey35(DW) has herself packed, and just about ready to go, while I, on the other hand, still remain the reigning champion of procrastionation! We're leaving Friday, so I think I'll pack on Thursday evening(16th) !
Hope everyone found the t-shirts they were all looking for !

I have a few questions....

1) Can dh get away with a nice dress shirt for an evening at Palo's or is a jacket a must?

2) If using the internet to check your own account, does it have to be through a certain provider? We have earthlink. Would hotmail or yahoo be better?

3) Can DH wear nice dress sandals with khakis to dinner, or must they be dress shoes?

Just trying to get most of my questions answered before most of the board leaves this week!!

Snorgg, can you fly your wife out here to help me pack?

Funny story ..... I read on one of the tip threads that this lady said she premeasured out detergent and put into ziplock bags. I thought this was a great idea and went ahead and did that. DH saw it and said there is no way we are taking that because we will never make it to the cruise. He said the white detergent powder in a baggie may end up being mistaken for something else. DH hasn't been involved in too much of the planning stages, but he sure made a good point this time!

JMHO means Just My Humble Opinion, although, Kamy and her crew may have "other" meanings. LOL

Les - I'll be packing for my DH and I this weekend....otherwise, if I left it up to him, we'd be packing an hour before we leave. LOL Talk about procrastination, if you want him anywhere on time, you have to tell him 1/2 earlier than what's true.

Tarzan - Won't be any problems getting me on the dance floor...but my wonderful DH may be hiding. LOL Last year a cast member actually got him to participate in the Battle of the Bands...wig and all as part of Bon Jovi...it was hilarious, especially knowing how shy he is. LOL And wouldn't you know it, the one time I didn't have my camera permantly attached. I scrapbooked it anyway...just used the medal he got when Bon Jovi won the contest.

As for your question about checking your account, I assume you mean your personal email? If it is a web-based account, such as yahoo or hotmail, you would have no trouble. But if your email is on your ISP's server, then you can't get it from the ship's computers. So the question is, what type of Earthlink acct. do you have??

Les- My DH will be packing on Thursday too! Actually, he'll be doing laundry and packing on Thursday, after he gets back from China.

When we went to Palo on the Wonder, my DH wore just a shirt and tie. I know that the Wonder is a little more casual but I would think he'd be fine. And as far as sandals, I think they would be fine too. After all who is going to be looking at his feet.

Beano is right about the email. Do you use Outlook Express or something like that to get your email, or do you go to a certain web page? If it's the second, your email is web-based. If it's the first, Earthlink may still allow you to get your email from a website, just email and ask them.
