I posted earlier about trying to decide where to eat for our last breakfast at WDW on the morning of our departure, and I'm still trying to decide... :teeth:

However, I have a few more details. We're staying in a cabin at FW, and I want Mickey Waffles. :cloud9:

My choices:

Trail's End - I know they have Mickey Waffles, but the atmosphere is a little "bland" for our last breakfast.

Chef Mickey's - They have Mickey Waffles too, but we have dinner scheduled there for the night before. (I would switch things up a bit & do WCC for dinner & CM for breakfast, but DH didn't like breakfast at CM last year, so we're trying dinner there this year.)

GF Cafe - Do they have Mickey Waffles? The cafe looks so lovely & sunny!

WCC - This is where I currently have an ADR, &, after reading so many great reviews (& since we're staying "next door" at FW), I'd really like to try this restaurant. I think it will be a nice "send-off" for us.

So, the main question - Does WCC have Mickey Waffles? How about the GF Cafe? Kona Cafe? Main Street Bakery?

I must have a Mickey Waffle before we leave!

Take the boat to Contemporary and then monorail to the Poly. They have Mickey Waffles. At least I think they still do. We had them in 2004 and they were delicious!!! :)

Boat to MK, Monorail to the Poly...Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto and this yummy skillet, plus fresh fruit, pinapple bread, raisin bread, juice, coffee!

I'm pretty sure that WCC has the same Mickey waffles as 'Ohana in the picture above. I thought that it was the WCC skillet that I was looking at in the picture before I read the caption. WCC is a great place to eat! We have eaten there a several times and have loved it each time. It is loud and crazy at times, but lots of fun.

Have a great time and enjoy!!

Thanks, everyone!

I decided to switch my CM dinner & my WCC breakfast. Now, we are having dinner on our last night at WCC and breakfast on our last morning at CM.

I've been reading some mediocre reviews for CM dinner & decided that it was better to have a mediocre breakfast than a so-so dinner for our last night. And I've read mostly good things about WCC, so I thought that was best for dinner - a fun, family dinner for our last night.

Last year, DH's main problem w/ CM for breakfast was that we hadn't packed the night before & he spent the whole time worrying that we wouldn't make it back to the cabin in time to pack before check-out time. (Plus, the food on the buffet was only so-so, but it was a fun experience.) I think as long as we're mostly packed, DH will have a better time at CM this year. :teeth: The way I look at it, breakfast buffet food is hard to completely mess up - it's a buffet, after all, but, you can get some pretty disappointing selections on a buffet at dinner time.

The breakfasts at 'Ohana & Kona look wonderful, but, each trip, we try to eat at a different resort. Last year, our last dinner was at 'Ohana, so I was looking for something different. Plus, since we're staying in a FW cabin, WCC sort of ties in w/ the "theme" of FW, if that makes sense.

And I came very close to scrapping the whole idea of a "fun" last breakfast & making a reservation for breakfast at the GF Cafe. It looks so sunny & inviting! I would love it, but, in the end, I think the kids would miss the fun atmosphere at CM.

Sorry to ramble! Thanks for all the advice! And all these wonderful restaurants just mean that we'll have to keep coming back to WDW to try them all! :goodvibes (Someday, I will get to try Konga Toast, and, someday, I will sip coffee in the sunny GF Cafe!)
