Last Breakfast; outside parks.

We just got back. We had breakfast at Steakhouse 55. It was good. The cost wasn't bad. The atmosphere was nice. There were white cloth tablecloths and I love the vintage photos of the stars on the wall. We were there on Tuesday Morning and we had no wait, in fact there were only a few people eating there.

On Wednesday morning we had breakfast at Catal in downtown disney. The cost was approximately the same as that at Steakhouse 55, but the food was wonderful and I have to say much better that that at Steakhouse 55. My husband had the American breakfast. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and the bacon was smokey and crisp and really, really good. I had the Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce was amazing. Both breakfasts came with cooked potatoes. Those at Steakhouse 55 were OK. The potatoes at Catal were so good. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and they had so much more flavor.

My opinion is that if you want someplace to get a decent breakfast and entertain the kids, it's hard to beat the Rainforest. If you want a good breakfast Steakhouse 55 is very good. However, I think the best tasting breakfast in the area is at Catal.
