We're debating whether to go during the week of April 18th or the week of April 25th. We'd like to go the least crowded time, so any opinions out there?

I was told the 18th is the last day of the peak season period, however I also saw that the World of Color is scheduled to open April 25th and draw in huge crowds. Is there anything else going on these weeks that would impact crowds?

I also wish we knew the park hours but I called Disney and they said they wouldn't be available until March...bummer!

We were there last year during the last week of April and for the most part crowds were low during the week. I would think if World of Colour is opening that week it could certainly change that!

Bumping, because I'm thinking about going then too & want to know if anyone else has any insights...

We were going to go the week of April 25th, but once I heard about World of Color we backed up a week. I figured it's less likely to open sooner. Even though that week might still have a few spring break stragglers, most spring breaks are long since over by then and my guess (totally a guess!) is that the week of April 18 will be less crowded and therefore that is what we decided on. I hope we're right!

I am interested also. I will be going April 23, thru April 30. I made those ressie thinking that the crowd would be low.

I have our (potential) trip scheduled for April 25-28 right now but have been going back and forth all day about switching it to the 18-21. It is just me and my two kids going (6 & 4) and I REALLY don't want to be stuck in heavy crowds due to WoC. I picked that week thinking that Spring Breaks would all be over and crowds would be low. Now I have no idea. If only my crystal ball wasn't broken.........:wizard:

I read that they're expecting huge crowds for the World of Color opening week so we went with the week of the 18th....we'll see what happens!
