M munchkinsmom Mom to DD12 and DS9 Joined Jul 28, 2005 Messages 564 Feb 24, 2007 #3 Not too many touristy things to do between LV and San Diego, but here are some things: Primm Valley has a group of casinos at the Nevada/CA border: http://www.primmvalleyresorts.com/pages/index_flash.asp There's the Lake Elsinore Outlet Mall off the Interstate 15: http://www.lakeelsinoreoutlet.com/ There's March Air Reserve Base off the 215, where they have a nice Air Museum: http://marchairmuseum.com/index.php The Orange Empire Railroad Museum in Perris, CA off the 215 (just south of March ARB): http://www.oerm.org/ In Riverside, there's the Mission Inn (an unusual hotel with some history): http://www.missioninn.com/ The San Diego Wild Animal Park is off the 15 in Escondido: http://www.sandiegozoo.org/wap/index.html If I think of more, I'll post.
