Largest Counter service

If you mean the most choices, for the values, it would be Pop and for the moderates it would be POR.

I am not sure about the deluxes.

All 4 of the values have big counter service areas and so does POR, as the PP mentioned. In my opinion, All Star Music and POR have the best counter service food courts on property. We tried to eat at a lot of different resorts and those 2 were our favorites. Least favorite was Pepper Market at CSR.

I love the CS at POR, esp the make your own Pasta bar. But we really aren't at our resort much for meals. WE usually just have breakfast at the resort before heading out to the parks. We eat lunch mostly at the parks, and do a restaurant for dinner at a park or one of the deluxe resorts.
We'll have the occas. lunch or dinner at our resort.

We lived in the CS at POR in July - the make your own pasta bar was just the best ever, I could have eaten there every night and not got bored! The chicken nuggets were awesome and the icecream by the scoop was to die for

They have a make your own salad bar which I used to swap between that and the pasta, it was sooooooooo good

Even tho we're probably going to be staying at CR next time, we might pop back to POR for dinner one night for nostalgic reasons!

I agree that POR has a good CS. We stayed at POFQ but we made sure we went to eat at POR twice during our trip.

We like the Pepper Market at CSR and the Riverside Grill at PORS.

Of the Values, PoP has the largest CS I've seen. I thought they had the best choices/food as well. Every Deluxe I've been in has a fairly small CS. The one at the Contemporary is almost tiny.

Agree with POR. Huge seating area, we were always able to get a table even at the busiest time of the morning. You can also walk to POFQ and use their food court too, for more options. Pepper Market at CSR has some unique options and is a great CS value, but I'm not fond of the tipping and CM waiter style service there.

In my opinion, CBR has the largest and best counter service fast food court area of any of the resorts. You have several different stations to choose from separated from the cashier area. Everything is made fresh as you order. Having several different stations and the cashier area separated makes it easier to manuever and faster service. They have a lot of seating both inside as well as outside. I love CBR's food court area!

I liked the set up of the CBR counter service much better than POR - since it makes a kind of "L" shape at POR, whenever we tried to get breakfast we were either in line to order getting bumped by those in line to pay, or getting smacked with trays of people walking to order while in line to pay - at CBR its a long, open area, which helped traffic flow. We stayed at CBR during Pop Warner this year, where some of the teams were staying, and never once got hit with a tray, and always found a seat. At POR in Sept., we did have a lot of trouble finding a place to sit around breakfast time. Options wise, we aren't usually around the resorts to eat after breakfast time, but i had the EXACT same breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes and a biscut at POR, CBR, and POFQ this year, and at POFQ and CBR i didn't have to nurse bruised ribs to eat it. Never eaten lunch or dinner at any of the mods, so i couldn't really comment, but i have heard that POR does have some really good options for those. Whether they're better than the other mods, that's a personal opinion.

I had the same experience as previous poster at breakfast at POR. We went the last week of August/1st week of Sept when Disney, as a whole, was not that crowded. However, POR was packed in the morning. We actually ended up eating at the sit down restaurant, which they do allow overflow so that was good, but I kept getting banged into at breakfast.

We ate lunch there once and it was SO empty and the food was great! I am gluten free and got the pasta station. They were wonderful with me!
