Largest container of water?

Does anyone know if they sell gallon jugs of water in the resort gift shops? If not, what is the largest size you've seen there? Any idea on price. We drink a lot of water and at $2/bottle, that will really add up. I was thinking that we could fill our water bottles at night so they would be nice and coldl the next morning to bring to park. I also thought about putting a couple large bottles in our extra luggage (ziploc protect of course). Do y'all have any "water" strategies?

Most people just ask for free ice water. It's so much easier than lugging water around with you. Any place in Disney that has ice water will give it to you.

Apparently so, it was fine when we were there. We had no problems with it.

As I remember, the tap water didn't taste good. Has that changed?

The best water will come from a soda machine, same place people refill their mugs. The soda machines have excellent filters on the water, and it is also refreshingly ice cold. I always take my refillable water bottle and fill at the soda taps (with water).

We pack our Pur pitcher in its original box - takes up about as much room in a suitcase as a shoe box. It filters the Florida water beautifully and we use it to fill up empty water bottles the night before and freeze them.

I just got an ad from Lowes and they have 32 16 oz bottles of Niagra water for $3.97.
If you have a car that would be the best bet, and they are easier to carry unless you have your own small reusable bottles to refill.
I always get water from Walmart and have a coupon for $1.00 off for when I go next week. I think their bottles are about the same as Lowes but you only get 24 bottles.
Not sure where the nearest Lowes is, I think there might be one near the k-mart on Sandlake.

The YC had larger bottles of water - I want to say 1 liter maybe 1.5 liter - and while slightly more economical they were still very expensive - over $3.50 each.

We're flying. I had never thought about using the water on the soda fountain. That's a great idea. I can easily put that in our sports bottles that we carry into the park.

We bought a gallon of water at the WL to use in the room. I can not drink the water. In the parks we get free ice water (filtered) from resturants or buy bottled.
