My cousin is going to join us on part of our trip. She loves coasters and she wants to go with us to Sea World and to Busch Gardens. She's a bit worried, though, about her size. She is very overweight - about 5'5'' and 240 pounds. She also has a large chest. She's worried that she might not fit in some of the coasters - and she's afraid that's she'll be really humiliated if they have to tell her she's too "fat" to ride. She has ridden all the coasters at Disney World, Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Cedar Point - but I think she might have gained some weight since then.

So, are any of the coasters at Sea World or Busch Gardens a problem for larger people, especially for women with large chests? She wanted me to ask so that she might avoid some potential embarassment. This cousin is really special to me - more like a sister - and I want her to have the best trip possible. It will just break my heart if she ends up feeling embarassed.

please post any info you get. We are kind of in the same boat if we head to Sea World.

i can honestly say the only place where it was an issue was on the hulk at ioa and some of their coastersno problems at seaworld or bg

You won't have a problem at SW.

Now I have only rode Atlantis not the Kraken.

Ok I am 5'2 and 245. I ride every coaster at SW and BGT. If you assests are as big as mine, I was triplely blessed, then you will need to ride in rows 3,4,or 5 on most of the coasters. They have extended the safety belts and they are made for blessed people. You should look for the seats with 2 straps instead of one. Sheikra is the middle row. 3 rows eight across on this coaster. She will be fine and have a great time. PM me with any other questions if you want or post here.

This may be too late for the initial poster, but ... all of the new coasters at BGT and SW (Kraken, Sheikra, Montu, Kumba) are built by the same company - B&M - that puts in "big boy" seats for the larger riders; they usually are - as noted above - located in the middle of the train.

And, for what its worth, if you can ride all the coasters at Cedar Point, which undoubtedly has the most restrictive rules regarding "guests of size", than you should be pretty much home free everywhere else ...

The only roller coasters I see that may be a problem with larger riders are Gwazi and Cheetah Chase at Busch Gardens. If you don't get to ride them for whatever reason, it really isn't a big loss.
