Large party lunch suggestion

I am looking for suggestions for lunch in one of the resorts that will take reservations accommodating 20 people. Any suggestions? My son is getting married there next year and we’d like to take everyone out to lunch after the ceremony.

Most buffet or AYCE restaurants can accommodate large groups. Be sure to book 180 days in advance though. The larger the group, the more difficult it will be to get a reservation.
I think Disney has a “group planning” phone number. I’d search for that and call them to ask.

I’d suggest Olivia’s, The Wave or Grand Floridian Cafe for a a non-buffet/AYCE restaurant. They might not be able to seat everyone at the same table. You’d have to check on that.

Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge was pretty dead when we had lunch there back in February. It was around 12:30 on a weekday. I also noticed they were serving lunch to some of the tour groups (Keys to the Kingdom, etc), so they frequently accommodate large groups because of this.

Port Orleans

I'd ask about Boatwrights then, you'd just make your way there after.

Or, I'd look into DS locations & take the boat there after the wedding (a pretty ride, if weather cooperates).

I'd stay real flexible until you see what's really available.

FWIW, Boatwright's isn't open for lunch, but perhaps they can arrange a special meal through the wedding coordinator.

Depending on the time, boats to Disney Springs are not super frequent during the day time. They start to pick up around 4pm. Disney Springs is a good idea, and I'm sure some places have private rooms even. But I'd keep potential boat delays in mind when figuring out times if that's the route you take.

Thanks, I missed 'lunch' in the OP.
