we have a party of 12 going on a family vacation. 3 Separate rooms were booked at the same time and paid on the same credit card but I had to list 3 separate "head" people one for each room. We have the dining plan. I have made reservations for 12 (although I realize some places will split us up.) some nights and some days we are eating separately. how does the bill then work? Are we able to pay with 3 separate magic bands to pull from each room? One of my kids is listed in my sisters room (because I have 4 kids and we didn't all fit in one room). But he won't always be with my sister....how do I pay for his meals when my sister isn't there. Maybe this isn't as complicated as I'm thinking but it seems like too much of a hassle to me!! Can someone help me out with how this works!

I believe as long as he has his own magic band you could use that to pay for his meal as it will be linked to his own dining plan at his own room. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

I think Vikss is correct. However, you need to make sure everyone in all the rooms knows that all the credits are pooled to the room, and what each person is entitled to. Not saying he will, but your son could use all the snacks for everyone in the room, and they would be left with nothing. You're going to have to be a little more diligent about keeping up with who has used what.

We had 7 people on the dining plan in two separate rooms and we shared our dining credits with two other rooms, for a total of 11 people. We had one person in one family using the credits from another room, like your situation, so we had to make sure he always had a MB from that room with him. And he had to buy his food separately if he wasn't with the family from the other room.

I had to be very diligent about watching credits because we needed enough TS left for our dinner on the last night and enough CS credits for our lunch at BOG on our last day. It was a little stressful to keep track of them all, but I ended up with only one extra CS credit on the last day, which we turned into three snack credits.

I actually used a spreadsheet to keep track of the credits. :)
