large groups question..

We are planning a trip with the extended family (15 people) and wanted to hear from some folks that have done the gatherings......
First off, I think we will pass on the character breakfast, so our options are as follows....

1. Safari/outback dinner at AK
2. Illuminations/dessert

I have read about what they are, sure they are both great...we have 3 kids (6-11), and my sis has 4 (10-16), plus my folks,MiL, and my gma...

I also realize that if we can onlt get into one, that will be what we do....

So lets hear what ya'll have to say.....tia

I was able to do an Illuminations Dessert Event for 25 3 times now (dont know if they can do 15 but the last 3 times I did this they have a minimum of 25 but then again I could be wrong!). We were placed by the UK pavillion and we have alll the dessert and space for ourselves. The kids also had a blast being able to eat everything in sight. Goodluck!

What does a dessert party at Illuminations cost? How do you go about making the reservation? Do you have the area all to yourself or do they put other parties with your party. I would be interested in looking into this for Nov. when we go with a party of 15. Thanks for any info

IIRC, the kids need to be at least 8 to participate in the sunset safari.
