Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! Parade

Beginning Wednesday, April 6, the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! parade will officially reverse its parade route, starting by Star Tours and ending on Hollywood Boulevard near the front of the park. The parade will continue to start at 3:00 pm daily.

Cars meet and greet

Lightning McQueen will be unavailable for meet and greets starting Friday, April 8, to undergo a makeover for his new movie Cars 2, which premieres in theaters June 24. During Lightning McQueen’s absence, Tow Mater will continue to greet guests at Luigi’s Garage through April 17 and will then be making roaming appearances in the park until April 30. In June, Tow Mater will return with Lightning McQueen in their newly themed meet and greet location.

Lightning McQueen in Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show

Starting in June, will make an appearance in the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show. McQueen will be replacing the Herbie the Love Bug scene in the show.

Mulch, Sweat & Shears

The rock ‘n roll band, Mulch, Sweat & Shears, will begin performing seven days per week (up from their five day schedule) starting April 3.

Jedi Training Academy

On nights when Fantasmic! is presented, the Jedi Training Academy has added performances to help meet the demand of young Padawans wishing to learn the ways of the Force. Show times on these days will be 9:15 am, 10:00, 10:50, 11:45, 12:40 pm, 1:30, 2:20, 4:00, 4:45, 5:45, 6:40, 7:35 and 8:30 for a total of thirteen shows. On non-Fantasmic! days there will be eight shows, the first at 10:00m am and the last at 4:45 pm.

Lotso and Winnie the Pooh


Beginning May 16, Winnie the Pooh will be at The Magic of Disney Animation building greeting guests to promote his new movie, “ Winnie the Pooh”, which premieres in theaters July 15. To make way for the Winnie the Pooh meet and greet opportunity, Lotso (short for Lots-o-Huggin’ Bear) will greet his last guests on April 30. After this date, guests can continue to see Lotso in the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! parade.

Phineas and Ferb

Phineas and Ferb, the stars of their self-titled show on The Disney Channel, will call Disney’s Hollywood Studios home as they greet guests at a location by Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano and the exit to Muppet Vision 3D beginning May 16.

SO, I'm guessing they figured maybe if the parade was going the oooother way--it would appear to be better?
