For anyone out there who has had this YUMMY drink at the Poly..Does anyone know what it is made from?? I know there is light and Dark rum but what else?? I would love to try this at home.

Did you have it served in a pineapple? You know, if you want to, I believe you can order it in a regular glass and shave a few bucks off the price!

I had my first lapu lapu in january and I agree, it is fantastic!

I can't wait to try one in December! I had my heart set on trying one when we were planning our last trip (March 03), but then I ended up being 19 weeks pregnant during that trip so I couldn't have one. So I've been waiting for this for about three years! LOL!

When we stayed at the Poly we were standing outside the Kona Cafe' and saw someone with a big pineapple with a straw in it!! My husband immediatley said we have to get one of those!! It was SO good it was like dessert!! I wish I could find the amounts of what they use. But we sure could have some fun experi menting!

You couldn't make it back to another resort! Is it that strong?? Also are you allowed to take them on the bus?? Probably not but thought I would ask.
