We will be traveling as DVC members for the first time this January. We will be using the bell services for our luggage at BLT. I will have a laptop that I use for work with me. My concern is what do you do with your laptops when using Bell Services? Do you leave your laptops with Bell Services and if so has anyone had any issues doing this?I am very protective of my laptop and am a little concerned if the area is secure.
 
This thread lost track and we got to chatting about bell services and laptops...

I won't leave my work laptop with anyone. I will however use the safe boxes the front desk has before I have a room assigned and after we've checked out but are waiting for magical express.

Although she may not think so, DD's laptop is replaceable and I have no issues with it going into "the cage" bell services offers.
 
We leave our laptop, along with our other luggage, with bell services all the time. We've done this at just about all the DVC resorts and never had the slightest problem.
 

I have also left mine. I talked to bell services because we checked out early to hit the parks before our flight and they loaded our stuff on a cart and put my briefcase (with laptop in it) hanging with a fragile/special item tag on it. I have had no problems doing this. I suppose depending on the kind of work you do there are different levels of concern.
 
We also leave ours with Bell Services. As a safe guard we don't keep important or personal info on the laptop and all passwords are kept on a encrypted removable USB drive.
