Thanks for all the useful info, I was interested in what more frequent flyers actually did and I got that. I lean towards using a large clear ziplock bag for the wires to avoid tangling and also to be able to just toss them all into a bin in one swoop. Single Digits!

I made the mistake of a few years ago bringing every charger I had in my work bag.. I took my laptop out but the bag got scanned about 4 times before it got looked at

now I bundle my stuff up so it doesn't look like a home made device
