I was planning on bringing my laptop for my solo at the end of September and I have a couple of questions. If my room is not ready when I get there (staying at Pop) is there an area that they will keep it that will be safe? Also, I was planning on sending e-mails and pictures after I get back from the parks or before I leave in the morning. Do I have to go to another resort to be able to do that and I understand I would have to pay $10.00/day even if I only use it for about an hour. Is that correct? In your opinion, is it worth it? :confused3

At POP, if your room isn't ready, you can leave your luggage with luggage service. They'll keep it safe for you and give you a receipt so you can either pick it up yourself later or have it delivered to your room.

POP does not have high speed internet, dial up connection only. The charge is 75 cents per call for local calls unlimited time.
You need to have your own dial-up ISP to use the dial-up feature. Check with your ISP provider and see if they have access numbers for Orlando. Or you can use Netzero/Juno which gives you 10 hrs/month access for free.

If you want to use high-speed internet, one solution would be to go to a resort that has wireless access in their lobby and use your laptop there. To access you'll be charged $4.95/hour or $9.95 for 24 hours.

Thank you so much, that was just the information I needed.
I have no probem with dial-up, that's what I use at home.
I will call and get the Orlando numbers.
THANK YOU!!!!

Just be sure to check when you get to POP that the numbers you have are local numbers.
