Lanyards?

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to find lanyards, or lanyards with the plastic holder for id, key to the world type cards, etc? I'm cruising next weekend on a 3 day Carnival Baja/Ensenada cruise, and haven't had any luck finding one!! Wish it could be Disney, but getting to Port Canaveral for a three day is tough for us Californian's!! WE NEED A DISNEY SHIP ON THE WEST COAST! I'll just have to be patient...

Both Office Max and Office Depot sell them with or without the card holder, they are quite reasonably priced

Hope this helps....they have velcro closure on the neck and a small outside pocket as well as the zip lock type closure pouch. They are sold near the jewelry/accessory department next to other wallets and such.

Do you think you could remove the cord and use a ribbon(wide) style cord?

Sure, I think that would be easy enough. Just make sure that the knot on the end is big enough so that it holds the plastic holder securely enough. I bought ours from Wal-Mart and we're not even cruising 'til next year! Should be real handy for the picture ID while going thru the airport!

I was looking at Wal Mart, but wasn't in the jewelry section. I'll have to go check it out tomorrow! I haven't found a question that can stump anyone yet, nine months to go though, sure I'll think of something!!

Searched high and low at our local Walmart but they didn't have these neat lanyards. I asked someone from accesories and someone from jewelry but they had never seen them. Will try a Walmart in Delaware over the weekend.

I have found some really nice lanyards on E-Bay. Just type in "lanyard" on the "search".

Old navy... near the check out. I just bought a bunch for $1.99. They all have them in cute patterns and colors.

You may want to check at the WalMart Sporting goods Department. (I think they're commonly used by fishermen to hold their fishing licenses.)

I found mine in the Jewelry dept at Wal-Mart hanging up where they hang the wallets. Try there. Also, you might want to go on the link above and print out the picture and take it with you. They had 2 kinds; one that hung sideways and one that hung portrait (or up and down).

Got ours at WalMart in the fishing department at the cash register. They are small enough to "walk off by themselves" the cashier told me, so they keep them at the register. As for the direction either works, just make sure for the kids you get a ziploc type closure so nothing falls out!
