Lanyards with pins okay on carry-on??

Has anyone had trouble carrying on their pins and lanyards?

Not sure what kind of damage could be done with 1/4 inch pin....

We fly Delta tomorrow am. Any info is appreciated!

We always carry on our pins. Just flew with them 4 weeks ago.
