Hi. I am new here, saw a picture that seems like a good idea, but not sure of some things. The cards you get that shows what hotel you are at (I will be at POP in June)....are they similar in design to a credit card? Does it have a hole it it to put on a string? Is that a "Lanyard" you can get to put it on around your neck for easy access? Finally, can you do that with the WDW?MGM/ANIMAL, etc. actual park tickets too and do they have holes as well? I was reading posts and saw a family with things hanging around each one's neck and if this is what they are for...great!!!! Where do I get them?

Usually they have a large selection on ebay. I bought my new one there about a month ago. It has a dalmation pin attached to it! Very cute! I paid about 12.00, but you can probably find one cheaper! The plastic part is sold separately.

Your tickets and room key should be on the same card, and it is the size of a credit card. I have heard that you cannot put a hole in them because they have to inserted into the ticket machines and also the fast pass machines. I bought a badge holder at Walmart in the wallet section(with the picture inserts and such). It has a black strap connected to a card holder on both sides that zip closes, but is easy to get to. I carried tickets/room keys, license, and some cash in that for two trips and it has worked out great! They were under $2, made by Puritan.

If you buy your park tickets separate from any package involving your room (ie like from a ticket broker) you can take your paper park tickets to the concierage and have them electronically put them on your room key. As an added bonus, if you lose them, Disney will have your tickets in their system!

Yes, that is a Lanyard you buy to go around your neck. You can buy a little pouch separately that will hold your room key/park ticket. We did this and it made our lives so much easier because our tickets were handy when it came time to get our Fast Passes. Don't freak out if you lose your key. We did twice, had to get a replacement once and the second time someone found it and just happened to give it to the CM at the ticket booth that I was at when I noticed it was missing. No one allowed me to carry their tickets after that one.:confused3

Hope you have a great trip!
