Do you speak/read/write another language other than your native?

How did you learn?

Do you study another language in school?

I'm a native English speaker.

I'm currently taking Spanish as a second language in school.

Yes.

What?
I speak Hindi.
I can barely read or write it, but I know a little.

How did you learn?
It's my parents native language.
I learned Hindi & English at the same time.

Do you study another language in school?
I'm in Spanish II.

I'm a native English speaker... :p

But I'm learning French in school right now. My teacher is evil, but I love learning the language & culture. :)

English is my first language. I can speak French and some Bosnian.

Na zalost ne govorim bosanski- Im sorry, i dont speak bosnian.
Bosnian names are amazing. ALL the girls names end in an 'a' and the last namees end in 'ic'
ex. senida, medina, almadina, anella, lejla.
The j's are pronounced as a 'y'

Je prends une class de français à mon école.

Yes.

French.

I learned at school, it was very slow learning. We were taught a bunch of words every week and how to spell them and after that it came naturally to a lot of us, after that it was just a lot of foreful expectations of speaking french and every class we took was in french except for english and specialities, like gym.
This is my eighth year of french.

I, too, am a native English speaker. I've taken Spanish in school since 5th grade (I'm currently in 10th). Not to sound conceided but I'm pretty darn good at reading/writing/speaking it...5 years of daily Spanish has a way of doing that to ya! I know about 6 words/terms in French...

and my personal favorite (and the one I use religiously)...'shut your mouth'

I speak english natively.

Yo hablo espanol en mi clase de espanol tres.

I'm a native English speaker just beginning to learn Spanish and French. So far neither one is great, but I can read French a tiny bit and write in Dwarvish fluently. Funny story. I hated writing in notebooks because just anyone -including prying siblings- could sneak a look at my private story ideas and such, so I wanted a language that no one else could read but would be easy for me to learn. Then one day I found "The Hobbit" laying around the house, so I picked it up and for kicks started translating the script on the border of the cover. I ended up learning the whole language in a couple of days, and now write in a loose version all the time. Much to the annoyance of everyone who wants to know what I'm writing but doesn't think to read the book and learn for themselves.

My best friend is Punjabi, but she can speak a bit of Hindi :) . I know how to say white beotch, and ask her grandpa for a ride home in Punjabi :rotfl: Years of hearing her ask him for a ride on the phone. Being familiar with white beotch comes in handy when you want people to think that you know what they're saying about you.

Anyways, I speak English. This is my 6th year learning French at school. Oh, and one day I plan to learn German so that I can actually go and visit family I have over there. Learning Punjabi would be cool too because then I could understand what kids in my school are saying, but that one would be a big challenge.

I am an english speaker. I can also speak Spanish farely well. I am also really good in Russian. My dad is full Russian and my grandparents speak it alot. So I guess I'm half Russian?? Errgh Math??? Anyway. I have only been doing Spanish pretty well .I read it better than speak it but aw well.

Я могу говорить на русском языке вполне прилично. (I can speak Russian preety well)

По некоторым причинам, русский язык только приехал естественно ко мне. (For some reason, Russian just came naturally to me)

Я люблю сыр. (my favorite quote " I like cheese")

"De donde eres?" " Soy las estado unidos"

Таким образом там Вы идете, те - языки я, cna говорят.
