This might be a silly question but it is something that has been on my mind since we booked our trip. How much English do they speak in DLRP?

My French in non-existent, I did it for a few years at school but then chose to take German further which I found to be an absolute walk in the park compared to how I struggled with French. :guilty:

I think I'm mostly concerned about times such as ordering things in restaurants.

What about the shows, are they in French?

I don't speak any French, well only the basics and it has never caused us a problem.
Some of the shows are in French but you'll get headphones.
Lion King has separate English or French shows.
I would not be concerned although a merci etc will go a long way.
CM's loved the way DD5 said Bon Jour/Au revoir in a broad North East accent

We have never had any problems :) The kids do like to use the odd word or two. I read french better than I speak it :)

I don't speak any French, except Bonjour, merci, si'vous plait, and au revoir. And I didn't remember all of that when I was at DLRP!

Its not a problem, I didn't encounter any staff in either the hotel or the parks who didn't understand English.

Thanks guys, that's good to know.

I've been to France before but always with someone who spoke French so I never had to worry about it!
