Day 3
After a good sleep in (dd2 slept until i woke her!) and as we are a democratic family we vote and decide to visit IHOP again. More stuffed french toast and a great big glass of that wonderful orange juice! $21.00
We decide to try to go and pick up the stroller that was left for me in the stroller swap from the budget board. We drive around the disney area.. (ooo i have goose bumps from actually seeing WDW for the first time... we also realize that at Rodeway Inn we are VERY close to WDW.. just around the corner DH and I are planning our honeymoon at WDW and will likely stay there in Sept) and arrive at AllStar Movies resort and after checking with the front desk we are sent to luggage and i am presented with the wonderful stroller and a huge bag of goodies/craft supplies for the scrapbook! (thanks to mom2of2 for her hard work on that!)
Next we head to downtown disney and buy tickets for "Pigglets big movie" and walk around the marketplace. It is dreadfully hot and sticky. We purchase a 2.50 bottle of coke and then drag ourselves to the other-end of the market for our 2:15 movie.. DTD REALLY needs a tram or something from the west end to the eastend and back. Thats a LONG trek if its hot out!
We see the wonderful movie and DD2 eats almost a large popcorn alone!
Having read the boards and several books,I was aware of the fountains that are available for the kids to play in.. so they don bathing suits and we let them go crazy in the fountain.. its very hot so its crowded.. even i couldnt resist jumping around out there for a few minutes!
After our somewhat soggy trek back to the car we head back to Rodeway and get cleaned up. Again after a vote we go to Olive Garden for dinner. The service is wonderful and the food great. Tirimisu was fantastic and there was a free wine tasting in the bar.. not big drinkers I am rosy cheeked from the wine and pleasantly warmed by the sun from the day.. god i love being on vacation!
Later we drive up international drive and find a miniture golf course and play there.... it has a congo theme and while kind of expensive ($32.00 for the three paying players) it is very fun.
DD wins of course
and he is triumphant in his reighn as king of the course lol
both dd had to practically be carried up the stairs to our hotel room
